Beautifull birds in Indonesia

1. Blue Bird of Paradise
Blue Bird of Paradise or the scientific name Paradisaea Rudolphi is a kind of medium-sized birds of paradise, with a length of about 30cm, the distribution of the genus Paradisaea.Daerah Blue Paradise found in the forests of the eastern highlands of Papua New Guinea and southeast, mostly from a height of 1,400 meters to 1,800 meters altitude above sea level.







2. Red Bird of Paradise
Red Bird of Paradise or the scientific name Paradisaea rubra is a kind of babbler bird of medium size, with a length of about 33cm, from the clan Paradisaea. Indonesian endemic, Red Bird of Paradise are found only in lowland forests on the island in the district Batanta Waigeo and Raja Ampat, West Irian Jaya province.








3. Peacock Blue
Peacock Peacock Blue or India, which the scientific name Pavo cristatus is one of three species of bird peacock. Peacock Blue has a glossy dark blue feathers. Adult male birds are large, can reach 230cm in length, with a very long tail cover green metallic. Blue Peacock population scattered in open forests with grasslands in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. Previously this species was found also in Bangladesh, but now most probably extinct there.









4. Bali Starling
Bali Starling or the scientific name Leucopsar rothschildi is a kind of babbler bird-sized, approximately 25cm long, from the tribe Sturnidae. Endemic to Indonesia, the Bali Starling is only found in the woods west of the island of Bali. This bird is also the only species endemic to Bali, where in 1991 was crowned as the fauna symbol of Bali province. The existence of this endemic animals protected by law.








5. Cekakak Malay-forest
Cekakak-forest has a unique and distinctive voice. In general, they were loud. Siulannya rises and reads "kwii-kwii ...". Uniquely, each whistle was generated around one tone per second. Bird species live in the woods and hunt from a low perch. Unlike his voice is loud, this bird was rather shy. They are just looking for prey from the ground with leaves keep turning.










6. Nuri Black Wings
Nuri Nuri black or red wing of Biak, is the scientific name Eos cyanogenia is a kind of parrot-sized, with a length of about 30cm, from the tribe Psittacidae. Endemic to Indonesia, Nuri-winged black only found in forest habitats in the coastal island of Biak and the islands in the Gulf of Paradise, Papua. This species is often found and nest in coconut plantations.








7. Old King's brother
This species lives at an altitude of 0-1520 feet above sea level, usually in groups. Cockatoos are generally long-lived, until reaching 60 years or more. Cockatoo inhabits primary and secondary forests are high and the edge of the forest; also monsoon forests (Nusa Tenggara), bersemak high forest, rare trees and shrubs whose tree farm is rare. From sea level to a height of 900 m (Sulawesi), 1520 m (Lombok), 1000 m (Sumbawa)

Carok Madura "Indonesia"


Carok is a tradition of murder due to certain reasons associated with self-esteem and then followed by inter-group or inter-clan [1] using a weapon (usually celurit). There are no official regulations in this fight because carok an act that is considered negative and the criminal and illegal. This is how the Madurese in maintaining self-esteem and "out "of problems that complicated.
Usually, "carok" is the last way that the travel by the Madurese community in solving a problem. Carok usually happens when it comes to issues involving honor / pride for the people of Madura (largely due to infidelity and dignity / honor the family)
Many consider carok is a heinous act and contrary to religious teachings Madurese own though steeped in Islamic religion in general but, individually, many still hold the tradition carok.
The word itself comes from carok Madurese language which means 'fight with honor'.
On July 13, 2006, seven people were killed and three people were seriously injured due to mass carok Longitude Village Central, District Batumarmar, Pamekasan regency, Madura, East Java. The number of alleged victims will still increase, because many victims who escaped in spite of injuries.

Amazing Underwater Park in Bunaken "Indonesia"





Bunaken is an area of 8.08 km ² island in the Bay of Manado, located in the northern island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. This island is part of the city of Manado, the provincial capital of North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Bunaken Island can be achieved by speed boat (speed boat) or a rented boat with about 30 minutes journey from the port city of Manado. Around the island there Bunaken Bunaken marine park which is part of the Bunaken National Park. This marine park has a marine biodiversity one of the highest in the world. Scuba diving attracts many visitors to the island. Overall Bunaken marine park covers an area of 75,265 hectares with five islands within it, namely the island of Manado Tua, Bunaken Island, Island Siladen, Mantehage Island follows several children his island, and island Naen. Although covering an area of 75,265 hectares, the location of the dive (diving) is limited in each of the five beaches that surround the island.
Bunaken marine park has a 20 point dive (dive spot) with varying depth of up to 1344 meters. Of the 20 diving points, 12 points among them diving around Bunaken Island. Twelve point dive is the most frequently visited by divers and lovers of the beauty of underwater scenery.
Most of the 12 point dive in Bunaken Island lined up from the southeast to the northwest of the island. In this region there are underwater great walls, which is also called the hanging walls, or a giant rock walls that stand vertically and curved upward. British sculptor Jason de Caires Taylor created a miracle in the Marine Park of Punta CancĂșn, Isla de Mujeres, and Punta Nizuc, in Cancun, Mexico. In a project called "The Silent Evolution", Taylor creates an underwater sculpture park, which also functions as an artificial reef.
